Thanai Pongdee, M.D.
Dr. Pongdee received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and medical degree from the University of Kentucky. He completed a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He then completed his fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Pongdee is board certified in Allergy and Immunology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. In addition to his private practice, he currently serves on the clinical faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he is involved in teaching medical students, residents, and allergists in training. He has participated in clinical research trials and has presented research at national meetings. His special areas of interest include asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergen immunotherapy, food allergy, and sports medicine.
